2010-2011 Pricing/Policies

*Students who require an accessible room will be offered a negotiated rate. All other students will be charged standard rates.

  SECURITY DEPOSIT  
  We require a security deposit equivalent to four weeks license fees per student, paid in advance for students staying more than 3 months. Deposits will be refunded within one month of departure provided there are no damages and no outstanding fees due (including cancellation fees).  Students with shorter stays must leave a credit card number.  
  LICENCE AGREEMENT  
  Students who pay us directly (for either license fees or security deposits or both) must sign a License Agreement prior to occupying space at the IES Student Residence Hall. Students will be bound by the terms and conditions in the License Agreement.  
  CANCELLATION FEES  
 

Prior to arrival: Four weeks license fees and the security deposit are forfeited.
After Arrival:  The contract is re-priced at the appropriate weekly rate for the new contract time period, and this variance must be paid. Additionally four weeks license fees (at the re-priced rate) and the security deposit are forfeited.

  
  PAYMENT  
  For individual bookings, students must make payments according to one of three options below based on the licence agreement. The last payment must be received at least one month prior to the check out date. IES Student Residence will forward a reservation confirmation for all bookings. A £25 charge will be applied every 7 days to accounts which are more than 7 days overdue, until payment is received or other action taken (per licence agreement).
Please note: We charge a 2% processing fee on all VISA/MasterCard for student accommodation. We do not accept AMEX cards. 		 
  PAYMENT OPTIONS  
  Residents staying 1-16 weeks must pay all their licence fees prior to arrival
Residents staying 16-36 weeks must pay 3 equal instalments
Residents staying more than 36 weeks must pay 4 equal instalments 		 
  OVERNIGHT GUESTS  
 

Overnight guests are NOT permitted unless there is BEDSPACE.
For health and safety reasons, guests may not sleep on the floors.
Students wishing for guests to stay over must complete a Guest Request Form, which will be confirmed not more than a week in advance of the requested dates of stay. Full payment must be made at confirmation of booking.
