Are bed linens provided?

Yes, one set of sheets, a pillow, duvet and duvet cover are provided.

Are towels provided?

No, although they can be purchased from reception or at a local department store.

Are all rooms en-suite?

Yes, all rooms have a shower, toilet and washbasin.

Is internet provided in all rooms?

Yes, all rooms have free internet access. In addition, all the common rooms have data ports.

Where can I get an internet cord?

Cords may be purchased from reception, as can other items such as travel adaptors and international phone cards.

Are overnight guests allowed?

Overnight guests are allowed at the holiday rate provided there is space in the building. Students are not allowed to have overnight guests stay in their rooms unless they are in a twin share for single occupancy. This is due to British health and safety laws. To request a guest stay, please request the form at reception.

Can I choose a roommate?

Yes, but all requests must be mutual.

Who is responsible for cleaning my room?

En-suites are cleaned once a week. You are responsible for the rest of the room.

Is there a discount for longer stays?

Yes, the price decreases the longer you stay. The largest discount is for 36-50 weeks. See our pricing policies for details.

Can I change my licence agreement after I have signed it?

You may extend your stay provided there is availability. You may shorten your stay, but four week's licence fees and security deposit (if paid) will be forfeited. If you shorten your stay after arrival, your contract will also be recalculated at the appropriate rate.

What about safety?

Chelsea is one of the safest neighborhoods in London. The building has CCTV and a 24 hour reception. There is also a resident assistant on duty each evening and all weekend. The building has an electronic entry system.

How can I find LRH?

We are at the corner of King’s Road and Manresa Road in Chelsea. The nearest Tube stop is South Kensington, about a ten minute walk. The Sloane Square Tube is also at the top of the King’s Road with frequent buses to LRH. There is a bus stop outside the building where the 11, 19, 22, 49 and 319 buses stop. Are there supermarkets nearby?

There are two grocery stores within a few blocks walk of LRH.

Can I have friends visit me in the building?

Yes, they may visit you until midnight, but they must sign in and leave a valid photo ID at reception. Guest must be escorted.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes, two laundry rooms are located in the basement. The cost is £2 per wash and £1 per dry. Detergent is available from a vending machine in the basement.

Can I bring my own television?

Yes, you can but you must provide is with a valid UK TV Licence.

Can I bring my own furniture?

No, rooms are fully furnished and all furniture that is provided must remain in the room.

Is it possible to make outside calls from my room?

Yes, provided you have a valid "0800" (freephone) access number phone card.

Do you have luggage storage?

No, the building does not have storage facilities. We cannot store luggage due to space constraints. Luggage storage is available for 24 hours at mainline rail stations.

All floors have ironing boards. Irons can be borrowed from reception.
